A native of Seattle, Washington, Apostle Jean Porter has been a profound teacher and preacher of the Gospel since 1973. Her journey was sanctioned by God and her peers, and heralded by the people of God who could feel the love of a woman of nobility and grace. Apostle Jean is the founder of Divine Presence Worship Center, Macon, Georgia, and she also serves as the apostolic covering of other churches in Georgia and Florida.
Apostle Jean has excelled as a mother, wife, entrepreneur, and as an author of several books. Her leadership has not only birthed the achievement of goals, but the development of pastors, bishops, evangelists, prophets, teachers, apostles and all of the gifts of help that the Lord would release. Much of the body has embraced her for her labor of love with women and yet there are many men in their pulpit today because of the wisdom she has exercised to nurture them to life and destiny.
She is married to her soul mate, Bishop Thomas Porter and this covenant in her life has continued on the pathway of bearing fruit and growing strong men and women of God. She and her husband are the co-founders of “Women And Men’s Leadership Alliance”, affectionately known as “WAM”. Apostle Porter is an Apostolic and Prophetic voice and to sit under her ministry is to experience growth that will propel you into the purpose and destiny ordained for your life.
